David Thomson is an acclaimed author and film historian who has chronicled cinema's biggest celebrities. Considered one of the foremost film writers of our time, Thomson is a sought-after speaker and has been hailed as “the greatest living film critic and historian” by Benjamin Schwarz of the Atlantic. He is the author of The New Biographical Dictionary of Film (Knopf, now in its sixth edition) and Hollywood: A Celebration [DK], among other works. In early 2011, the New Republic named Thomson the columnist for its new online section, “At the Movies.” He's also a contributor to the New York Times, Film Comment, Movieline, and Salon.com. Additionally, Thomson taught film studies at Dartmouth College and served on the selection committee for the New York Film Festival. He lives in San Francisco, CA.

I love this book as much as a drug addict loves meth. If you're as much a fan of this show as I am, and you're still mourning its end, then grab a copy of this book and kick back with your favorite beverage while you lose yourself in the behind-the-scenes peek of what went into the making of this incredible TV masterpiece. I was initially only going to browse through this on the afternoon that it finally arrived in my mailbox, but before knew it, not only had the afternoon passed on, but most of the evening as well. This is a definite must for any true "Breaking Bad" fan.

This is the best currently published book on the Breaking Bad series. Great photos of scenes & sets,episode facts and trivia concerning the cast. Having read the others, this one was my "keeper" hands down.

I thoroughly enjoyed the series and thought the book would be more enjoyable than it seems to be. David Thomson’s politics come through much too strongly and perhaps and even more, unnecessarily in this book. There are some good references and pictures, good if you love the show though.

If you a big Breaking Bad fan like me, this is the perfect buy. It has tons of behind the scenes stuff. Facts and trivia and lots of other things. This book tells you things like what certain colors in the show mean, why Vince did certain things with colors or the way things were shot on camera. Great purchase. If you love Breaking Bad, buy this book.

This is a must have book. It has tons of cool information, interviews with producers, behind the scene pics. It is taken from Alchemy (itunes ebook) and has new stuff. Worth the price!

Awesome book, also arrived promptly and well packaged. Looking forward to reading it in depth, have only skimmed through it so far.

After watching this show, I had to get the companion book. This book is an excellent resource to the show. The details it contains is amazing. From what the colors meant to props used is worthwhile reading. I read the entire book in 1 day and have passed it on the other Breaking Bad fans. Too bad the show is over.
