About the Author

Terry Pierce is the author of twenty children’s books, including Mama Loves You So, My Busy Green Garden, and Tae Kwon Do! (2007 Bank Street College Best Children’s Books). She has a BA degree in early childhood development and an AMI Montessori teaching diploma. She was a Montessori teacher for twenty-two years before deciding to follow her dream of writing for children. She has an MFA in writing for children & young adults from Vermont College of Fine Arts, including the picture book Concentration certification. I love reading this book to my son! He loves touching the pages and looking at the beautiful artwork. Also hoard books are the best for the stages when they grab everything in sight! Was given a copy as a gift then bought two more for gifts for others!

I purchased this book mainly because of the baby wearing momma on the front. I LOVE THIS BOOK. The words are touching, the pictures are gorgeous, and it's short enough that I can read it to my toddler without her running off halfway through.

Heartwarming tale that all new moms will love to read to their baby. Made me tear up a little sharing all the love.

The illustrations and storyline about mommy loving baby is just perfect!

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL BOOK!!! It’s bright and colorful but not annoying, as soon as I took it out of the packaging all my babies 5,4,2,3mo were interested!!! I read it over and over... a great book that definitely tugged on my momma heart strings as well!!! They grow too fast... 😭 (I also love that the momma was wearing her baby! Lol... All my babies have been/are worn so it definitely helps them to identify with it a bit more I think)

I got this book for one of my best friends who is having a baby in march. We have been on a few trips out west together hiking and camping, so this book seemed like the perfect gift for her new baby. The words are simple but so touching- I also could just be emotional because I'm so happy for her. Either way, a great book with beautiful artwork and high quality pages. You wont regret getting it!

Such a sweet book! I gift this to all new moms and they LOVE It! This was the first book I bought while I was pregnant with my first and I’ll save it forever to cherish the special moment. Really sweet words and pictures.
